If I want to travel on a particular date but am not ready to provide full payment yet, can the booking be held for me until I am ready to pay in full?
Unfortunately, due to limited availability and high demand for these exclusive packages, we are unable to hold any bookings without payment.

How do I make a booking once I have purchased a Global Escapes voucher?
Customers will need to contact the Global Escapes team. When you contact us to make your booking, we will endeavour to book and confirm all components of your package within 72 hours of receiving your booking details. Should we not be able to confirm any component, we will contact you with an alternative within 72 hours. For further details regarding the booking process please refer to our full Terms & Conditions (use the link at the bottom of this page).

Can I cancel or make changes to my booking?

You can cancel or amend your booking at any time by contacting our Customer Service Team.  Travel service providers are entitled to impose charges for cancellations or amendments, which can be up to 100% of the amount paid to them for the relevant service, regardless of whether travel has commenced.  When you amend your booking a $110 per person fee will be charged, together with any additional amendment fees applied by the service providers.  When you cancel your Land Packaged booking a $150pp fee will apply to domestic bookings and a $400pp fee will apply to international bookings, together with any additional cancellation fees applied by the service providers.  For Cruise and Tour packaged bookings a cancellation fee of $550 per person applies.  Once/if we receive a refund from the travel service providers, we will pass that refund onto you less the fees indicated.  Any bookings cancelled by the supplier due to the Australian (Federal or State) or New Zealand Government Outbound/Inbound International or Domestic Travel Restrictions or Quarantine Mandates, a fee free amendment, or full refund, will be offered. If flights are cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19, your booking will be subject to the applicable airline policy effective at the time of cancellation, which may only offer the option of a travel credit for the cancelled booking.

If your booking is not affected by the Australian (Federal or State) or New Zealand Government Outbound/Inbound International or Domestic Travel Restrictions or Quarantine Mandates and you decide to cancel or modify your booking, cancellation or amendment fees apply as per standard terms and conditions.

Can I purchase travel insurance through Global Escapes?
Yes you can purchase travel insurance. Please call 1300 881 433. The Australian Government advises that all travellers obtain travel insurance prior to travel. The insurance should cover loss of deposit and other monies through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money, medical expenses, additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs to Australia should any services need to be extended or curtailed due to illness or other insurable risks. Our reservations team can provide you with general information about travel insurance at the time of booking. If you do not require travel insurance, you agree to provide written acknowledgement that a recommendation to obtain travel insurance has been made to you by us.

How do I check room availability at the resort?
You can check room availability  by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button. This has live, up-to-date availability. Simply select a date in the calendar above the availability grid. For airfare availability, please contact Global Escapes on 1300 881 433.

If I want to travel on a particular date but haven’t purchased a Global Escapes voucher, can the booking/room be held for me until I have purchased the voucher?
No. Bookings/rooms cannot be held without voucher purchase.

What is the promotion availability?
Your booking is subject to the availability of the actual rooms provided by the resort for the Global Escapes promotion. This allocation of rooms is well in excess of the rooms required to satisfy the offer, however, not all rooms available at the resort on any given day will be available to guests participating in the promotion offer. Please note that booking available rooms is on a First Come First Served basis.

Can I contact the resort directly to make a booking/redeem my voucher or check availability?
No. Bookings/voucher redemptions and availability checks must be made through Global Escapes.

I haven’t received my Global Escapes voucher yet. What do I do?

Airfares are based on promotional economy class fares with Fiji Airways including 30kg of checked in luggage per person. Airfares are subject to availability at time of ticketing. • Kids aged between 3 – 12 years stay free when sharing a room with parents in existing bedding.
  – The Kids Eat free meals based on a minimum of 4 nights stay and includes free meals only apply to meals ordered from the children’s menus or the Property’s Kids buffet. This offer is for children 12 years and younger.

• All guests must be ready by their resort lobby at least 10 minutes prior to pick up time. Self-drive guests must be at Tappoo Sigatoka at least 15 minutes before departure.
• A.M. meal at the village is served at approximately 11.45am
• Suggestion: Parents bringing infants and young children to bring own snacks for their children to have along the way should they be hungry prior to arrival to the village.
• Guests must have breakfast prior to morning tour and brunch prior to afternoon tour. Please note, above meal times in the village.
• Please bring: camera with lots of batter power, bottle of water, sunscreen, change of clothes and towel, a sense of adventure, proper shoes (old runners, slippers), sunglasses and hat.
• Our goal at Sigatoka River Safari is to help improve the village’s living standards. We have achieved this to date with the help of our guests, as part of the proceeds from the tour is contributed directly to the various villages we visit. This sees these monies go entirely to these remote villages and allows them to be used by the villages in their various village projects. This process enables self-determination for the villagers and has provided them the ability to meet all their social and cultural obligations, without placing strain on the individual village members and families.
• The company visits a different village each of the week with villages hosting once a week for 6 months. We have a set of 6 villages during the dry season from May to October and another set of 6 villages during the wet season from November to April.

• After a big “Bula” welcome onto the island, you can join in the sing along by the beach bonfire while capturing the last moments of the setting sun. During your time on the island, you will learn about many of Fiji’s cultural rituals including the unearthing of the “lovo” earth oven and a fire walking demonstration. After dinner, you will be entertained with a historical pacific culture dance show featuring Fiji’s best fire & knife dancers. The show culminates in a heart stopping acrobatic fire display by the ocean. A truly captivating experience that is not to be missed.
