If I want to travel on a particular date but am not ready to provide full payment yet, can the booking be held for me until I am ready to pay in full?

How many people can sleep in a room?

How do I make a booking once I have purchased a Global Escapes voucher?
Customers will need to contact the Global Escapes team. When you contact us to make your booking, we will endeavour to book and confirm all components of your package within 72 hours of receiving your booking details. Should we not be able to confirm any component, we will contact you with an alternative within 72 hours. For further details regarding the booking process please refer to our full Terms & Conditions (use the link at the bottom of this page).

Can I cancel or make changes to my booking?

You can cancel or amend your booking at any time by contacting our Customer Service Team.  Travel service providers are entitled to impose charges for cancellations or amendments, which can be up to 100% of the amount paid to them for the relevant service, regardless of whether travel has commenced.  When you amend your booking a $110 per person fee will be charged, together with any additional amendment fees applied by the service providers.  When you cancel your Land Packaged booking a $150pp fee will apply to domestic bookings and a $400pp fee will apply to international bookings, together with any additional cancellation fees applied by the service providers.  For Cruise and Tour packaged bookings a cancellation fee of $550 per person applies.  Once/if we receive a refund from the travel service providers, we will pass that refund onto you less the fees indicated.  Any bookings cancelled by the supplier due to the Australian (Federal or State) or New Zealand Government Outbound/Inbound International or Domestic Travel Restrictions or Quarantine Mandates, a fee free amendment, or full refund, will be offered. If flights are cancelled by the airline due to COVID-19, your booking will be subject to the applicable airline policy effective at the time of cancellation, which may only offer the option of a travel credit for the cancelled booking.

If your booking is not affected by the Australian (Federal or State) or New Zealand Government Outbound/Inbound International or Domestic Travel Restrictions or Quarantine Mandates and you decide to cancel or modify your booking, cancellation or amendment fees apply as per standard terms and conditions.

Can I purchase travel insurance through Global Escapes?
Yes you can purchase travel insurance. Please call 1300 881 433. The Australian Government advises that all travellers obtain travel insurance prior to travel. The insurance should cover loss of deposit and other monies through cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money, medical expenses, additional expenses to cover hotel accommodation and repatriation costs to Australia should any services need to be extended or curtailed due to illness or other insurable risks. Our reservations team can provide you with general information about travel insurance at the time of booking. If you do not require travel insurance, you agree to provide written acknowledgement that a recommendation to obtain travel insurance has been made to you by us.

How do I check room availability at the resort?
You can check room availability  by clicking the ‘Book Now’ button. This has live, up-to-date availability. Simply select a date in the calendar above the availability grid. For airfare availability, please contact Global Escapes on 1300 881 433.

If I want to travel on a particular date but haven’t purchased a Global Escapes voucher, can the booking/room be held for me until I have purchased the voucher?
No. Bookings/rooms cannot be held without voucher purchase.

What is the promotion availability?
Your booking is subject to the availability of the actual rooms provided by the resort for the Global Escapes promotion. This allocation of rooms is well in excess of the rooms required to satisfy the offer, however, not all rooms available at the resort on any given day will be available to guests participating in the promotion offer. Please note that booking available rooms is on a First Come First Served basis.

Can I contact the resort directly to make a booking/redeem my voucher or check availability?
No. Bookings/voucher redemptions and availability checks must be made through Global Escapes.

I haven’t received my Global Escapes voucher yet. What do I do?

*Wavedancer Low Isles Cruise

• Set like a jewel in a Great Barrier Reef lagoon, Low Isles is an idyllic, unspoilt coral island that appeals to everyone. And why not, when this is everyone’s idea of a secluded tropical paradise!
• Complimentary morning tea/coffee on boarding. For your safety, hot drinks are not served once the vessel is underway. Passengers are required to be onboard the vessel 15 minutes before departure.
• An informative Marine Biologist presentation is shown in the main cabin.
• Wavedancer departs Marina Mirage for Low Isles.
• A snorkelling demonstration is conducted during the journey to Low Isles.
• Wavedancer arrives at Low Isles and your activities commence. The coral viewer and shuttle vessels leave for the island, and continue to run throughout the day. Your snorkelling equipment is available from the storage containers on the foredeck of Wavedancer. We recommend that you conduct all snorkelling from the island. The guided snorkelling tour operates from the island. Introductory dives operate from the back of Wavedancer.
• Lunch is served aboard Wavedancer. Enjoy your tropical buffet. Bar operates throughout the day.
• A guided beach and heritage trail walk is conducted by a Marine Biologist. This walk departs from the shuttle boarding area on the beach.
• Last shuttle leaves the island to return passengers to the vessel. Afternoon tea is served.
